John Martin is the Director of Advanced Programs Turboshaft Engines, and he manages technology demonstrator programs, advanced rotorcraft applications, and technology development for turboshaft engines. Programs include FATE engine demo, S97 Raider flight demo, HEX hybrid VTOL flight demo, and more. His experience includes program management on both rotary and fixed wing applications as well as leadership roles in Controls Engineering and Engine Systems Engineering. John holds a BSME from Cornell University, MSME from MIT, a rotary wing pilot license, and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified. An avid runner and triathlete, John founded the corporate team-winning Greater Boston GE Triathlon team.
